C.M Hogan, rider of Urra Mass Rock, trained by E.Seymour, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.
163C Irish Stallion Farms EBF (M) H'cap H'dleThe Raceday Stewards interviewed H.E. Sexton, rider of You Make Me Smile, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the Whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that H.E. Sexton was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record in this regard (second offence) they suspended him for four racedays.
163D Join Racing TV Now Free Trial Hcap H'dleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Chanceawetmorning, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
J. Smith, rider of Chanceawetmorning, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight for room at the last hurdle. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
163E Dunlop Homes Rated Novice H'dleThe Raceday Stewards interviewed Caragh Monaghan, rider of Sea Of Doubt, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who felt that one strike had not connected but then having viewed the footage, accepted that she was in breach of the Whip Regulation and apologised for her actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Caragh Monaghan was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered her record in this regard (second offence) they suspended her for five racedays.
M.P. O'Connor, rider of Fedneys Park, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount clipped a heel on the run to the last. The Racedays Stewards reviewed the incident and the approach of the whole field to the last hurdle and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
The Raceday Stewards reviewed the riders first approach to the start and were satisfied that the false start was as a result of Fedneys Park's unruly behaviour and as such that no further action was warranted.
The Raceday Stewards informed the Authorised Representative of Henry de Bromhead, trainer of Fedneys Park, that a repeat performance of his charge, who behaved unruly at the start, may render the animal liable to a suspension in the future.
163F Cab Plant H'cap H'dleOwing to operational reasons, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for hurdle four to be omitted from this race.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Oh So Charming (GB) trained by Declan Queally was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Paul John Gilligan, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Georginas Jet, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Paul John Gilligan stated that the step back in trip, better ground today and the yard returning to form, may have brought about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the content.
Alan O'Sullivan, rider of High Notions, trained by S.G. Carey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left throughout.
J.G. Gilligan, rider of Bowgate Street, trained by M. Flannery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.
163G I.S.F. EBF (Mares)(Pro-Am) INH Flat RaceAileen O'Sullivan, rider of Freeway, trained by S. Michael Millar, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount hung left when they started to race.
